“What do you admire about Cleveland?”
“The people. They’re generous, they wanna help. I left Ohio because of gang activity. I’ve had a lot of friends get killed, and I said no way. They were opening up doors and shooting under the doors, kinda like this, to kill my friends, and I said, “its time for me to GO.” That’s when I shot down here.
I was on my way to Tampa, Florida and I was gonna go to a Bible college down there but somehow I ended up in Cleveland. So I went up to Greenville, Kentucky to a Bible college. Since I’ve been studying the bible since I was 17, I went through school quickly, very quickly—graduated, got put on staff. I thought when I come back, there would be work all over the place and I came back here and there wasn't work no where. And consequently, I’ve been homeless ever since.”
“What's the craziest thing you've ever seen?”
“When Obama got elected. Never thought anything like that would happen.”
